GSC#17 Azura

The seventeenth edition of Galactivision has been held in Azura after their win in the previous edition with Ariana Grande and her song "No Tears Left To Cry".

The slogan chosen by the executive producer was "Stronger Than Fire" as it refers to the fact the planet is mainly covered in water.

It was won by CHVRCHES with her song "Miracle" representing Idencial.

Location

For this edition, Azura organizers decided to use only one place for all the events.

And its the Indigo Coliseum in the capital Cyanine which has been chosen, named from the color of the sea surrounding the main island for the main part.

Participants

43 planets took part in this edition which was the new record of the contest.

Polarea and Xaja came back to the contest after their two editions suspension.

Delarova, Dreamland and La Rezzetta debuted in this edition.

Jennurie retired cause of local election on the planet happening at the same time as the contest.

Change Of Rule

It was decided by the main organizer in accord with representative of participating planets that, from this edition, 10 planets would qualify in each SF regardless of the number of planets in each of them.
