The fifth edition of Galactivision has been held in Diamandion after their win in the previous edition with Nicky Minaj and her song "The Night Is Still Young".

The slogan chosen by the executive producer was "Let's Run The Night" referring to the song that helped them win the previous Edition.

It was won by Katy Perry ft. Kanye West with their song "E.T." representing Azura.

Location

Three places have been chosen to hold the different parts of the contest:

The Magnetic Concert Hall in Strangeview has been chosen to hold the first semi-final. This hall was intentionally build for broadway shows, but due to a mistake in the description of the hall, it's now used for various peace festivals or concerts.

The Neksdor Arena in Tomoville has been chosen to hold the second semi-final.

The Neksdor Arena is officially the arena for one of the most famous sport event in Diamandion, Jewelball, which is almost like Basketball, but the players play in vehicles which is formed like different jewely, depending on the team. But its also used for the National Selection of Diamandion, Unser Song für....

The Crystal Sky Concert Odysseum in Crystalysija has been chosen to hold the final.

This is the biggest arena on the planet. This build was inspired by the old Odysseum of Rome on the Earth. It is shaped like a gigantic Crystal, it is 60 meters high and over 20 million people fit in this astonishing buildings. Also this was the place were Queen Toadessa Houvaniaj was crowned 6 years ago.

The gap for the semi-finals not having been reached yet, only the Crystal Sky Concert Odysseum was finally used.

Having to organize the contest twice in a row and not to have a too high budget, part of the precious edition were used again for this edition.

Participants

23 planets took part in this edition.

One new planet joined the contest: Khalisto.

Polarea was excluded for two editions due to the multiplication of cards for not voting in previous editions, bringing them to a red card.

Lilawater expressed their intention to withdraw probably permanently.

Bengian didn't participate, though didn't give any reason for it.
