GSC#9 Xyzenabo

The ninth edition of Galactivision has been held in Xyzenabo after their win in the previous edition with Axwell /\ Ingrosso and their song "More Than You Know".

The slogan chosen by the executive producer was "True Colors" referring to their sky regularly changing colors due to the hot temperatures and the composition of their atmosphere.It was won by Jordin Sparks with her song "Battlefield" representing Idencial.

Location

Organization of Semi-Finals not being a trouble anymore, it was directly asked to Xyzenabo organization to choose thee places to hold the contest.

The first one was the Rakkustis Arena in Rakkustis, a merchant city in the middle of the desert used to lodge nomad merchants coming to sell their merchandises.

The second one was the Jatoul Concert Hall in Orgev, a fishing city close of one of the small seas on the planet. The hall was named in honor of a local personality sadly missing at sea.

For the final, the Vortam Stadium was chosen in the capital Turnpal. The Stadium was more used for sportive events, but the retractable roof allowed it to host the contest.

Participants

For this edition, everyone from the previous edition was back again, and we had an unexpected returning planet: Lilawater.

That means there was 31 planets participating this edition, which meant the semi-finals hadn't an equal number of participants.

It was decided that it would be the number of NQ which would remained equal, resulting in having 7 qualifiers in SF1 and 6 in SF2.
